Installed Kubota Winch. Installed Datsun Alternator. Burned My Hand.

I got a new one ton ATV winch from Harbor Freight for super cheap, and it's going on the tractor as a multi-purpose pulling out stuck stuff tool.  It's not real often that the tractor gets stuck anywhere, but it's happened once or twice and only in the most inconvenient of places so a winch will be worthwhile, I think.  I figure it'll mostly get used for ripping stuff out of the ground and dragging things around though, considering the little orange monster does a fair bit of that anyways, this'll just give me another means to that end.
Mockup of where stuff is gonna go, more or less.
More stuff after jump break

What is more redneck?  A Camaro on cinderblocks or a tractor up on blocks?  It's getting it's front wheels filled solid because replacing tubes from blackberry thorn punctures is getting tiresome.

Winch pretty much installed.  Still gotta put on the fairlead, but that's four more holes to drill through fairly thick plate and it's gonna get done another day.

Datsun truck's alternator was dying a slow death, so a new remanufactured Beck/Arnley unit from RockAuto went in.  Hooray for old vehicles, $40 and a few minutes of labor later it's putting out power.

Don't drop hot drill bits tip-first on the palm of your hand.  In fact, don't put anything that hot on your flesh, nor drop your high speed drill bits anywhere.  That tends to burn and shatter things, respectively.  At least it left kind of a cool mark.
